Data Engineer – Fully remote in Europe – Up to £65,000 

Do you want to work fully remotely anywhere in Europe? Are you looking to work for a Health tech with a fintech arm? If so, my client is looking for a Data Engineer to build out their complex software application. 

As a Data engineer, you will be working alongside a team of 8 developers and be tasked with building and developing internal tools for report generation. They have a brilliant business model which is to make healthcare more economical for everyone both in the UK and across Europe! The company currently employ 20 individuals and even though they were founded 3 years ago, they are already making a profit and are now planning on expansion of their services into Europe! They are looking for a strong Engineer with a passion for business related data!  

You will be working alongside experienced Team Leads and be tasked with pulling data from their existing platform and building tools to assist with all aspect of the company including stakeholder business decisions. This unique opportunity will require someone with a keen interest in understanding the business side of data as you will be working with various senior members of the company. Having recently gone through massive growth they look to expand into new markets which brings many complex challenges. As a business, they are happy for you to work from there HQ in London or alternatively fully remotely anywhere across Europe and everybody is rewarded with significant equity in the business from day one where the value of the business trebling in the past 12 months! 

Skills required: 

You must have a minimum of 2 years’ industry experience in Data Engineering or similar field and you will also be competent in the below skills: 

• 2 years Python Experience  

• Experience maintain workflows with Apache Airflow  

• Experience working with BigQuery Databases 

• Fluent in English and great communication skills 

Package: 

• Salary between £65,000 - £65,000 or up to €75,000
