Mid-level Golang Engineer - 50,000 - £75,000 + 30% bonus – Fully remote UK

The company who were founded 5 years ago, currently have 200 staff worldwide and an Engineering team of 50 currently in their technical hub in Asia and have a team of ten engineers in London. They have genuine hiring potential of 100 roles to fill over the next 6 months, with 50 of them being across technology and are looking for a further Golang engineer within there UK team!

As a Golang Engineer you will build out the B2B payment platform that connects businesses in emerging markets across Asia, Africa, and South America. You will help build out their API platform, re-architecting and migrating their existing API as well as building out various greenfield extensions. They want backend engineers who are problem solvers first and foremost, who are technically curious and have a real passion for learning and developing new services. You will want to work with Cloud-native applications working with Kubernetes and moving to a microservice architecture as the company scales.

What is great, whilst they are a start-up, they have already turned a profit and secured two huge rounds of funding of 120 million to help scale, so you will not have the worry of working for a start-up and thinking of job security and short-term financial commitments of the client. To be considered for a Golang role, you will be expected to have the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 12 months software engineering experience
• Ideally some personal projects or commercial Golang experience
• Experience building API solutions
• Experience in agile environments particularly with TDD
• Ideally some experience with Kubernetes and AWS
