Lead Data Scientist – London (Hybrid) – Up to £90,000!

I’ve got an exciting opportunity with an international SportTech company, who are looking for a Data Scientist to join their growing team!

Founded over 6 years ago, this fantastic sports technology start-up has established themselves as a key player in the industry and are taking the sports world by storm with their innovative and revolutionary products! Using the latest developments in both sensors and machine learning, they have developed hardware and software to collect and track bespoke data and provide valuable insights. Working with some of the biggest partners in their field, they’ve already made a name for themselves and are changing the game for everyone involved!

Role
As a Lead Data Scientist you’ll be creating state of the art algorithms using signal processing, sensors and machine learning. You’ll be responsible for optimizing and improving these algorithms alongside owning the data pipeline, being hands on in the deployment to cloud services and integration to hardware. Working closely with the wider team, you’ll also be leading a small team of Data Scientists and be instrumental in the growth and development of the Data Science function.

Skills:

· 5+ years commercial experience building machine learning models and algorithms

· Proficient working with Digital Signal Processing/Sensors

· Experience leading/mentoring a small team

· Python/AWS/C++/Tensorflow

· A passion for sports is a bonus but not essential!

On offer is a salary up to £90,000 DOE + hybrid working in London (2 days a week in office)
