Python Engineer – Fintech – Stockholm – 50,000 – 70,000 SEK per month

Job description

Python Engineer – Fintech – Stockholm – 50,000 – 70,000 SEK per month

I’ve partnered with a Fintech business operating within the B2B space, as they look to onboard multiple Python engineers into their existing team.

Having been around for ten years in total, the company took the transition from being a purely finance focused business, into a software specialist within the sector. Since that transformation, they have signed up over 500 business and have handled hundreds of thousands of transactions! This has led to a turnover of over 700m euros.

The company headcount is at 60 currently, with ten engineers working on their core product. With regards to location, their HQ is based in Stockholm and the majority of the team work three days a week in the office.

The role

At the moment, they are looking for 1x Python Engineer and 1x Full Stack Engineer. The full stack role is also heavily backend leaning due to the amount of data & transactions that flow through their product.

They are looking for pure Python engineers and don’t tend to make use of any web frameworks, except for smaller features on some extensions. For the frontend, they use React. Solid experience in Python is a must but outside of that, you will need to have some infrastructure experience – AWS ideally!

In terms of your responsibilities, you will be helping to deploy a brand new platform which they are in the final stages of upgrading, before being tasked with a number of new features requested by users. This will involve working closely with the Lead Engineer and wider product team to come up with solutions & designs, before putting them into practice.

On offer is a salary ranging between 50,000 – 70,000 SEK per month as well as a flexible benefits package dependent on your level of experience.

Their interview process is only two stages! This includes an initial call with a senior member of the engineering team, followed by an in-depth technical discussion with the remainder of the team.

If you think this role could be the one for you, let me know & I will set up an interview!
