Senior Backend Engineer – FinTech – Analytics Platform - £80,000 – Fully Remote

I have recently begun working with one of the London’s finest upcoming FinTech business who are currently expanding their team with the aim to scale their product offering.

The Company

Based in West London, this business is improving management through their solutions platform which provides accurate and effective analysis for business owners and financial managers. This platform accurate analytic to be given to both technical and non technical employees and is designed to bridge the gap between Software Engineers and their financial teams.

The platform is currently in use by hundreds of teams and is used to provide analysis on over £100bn of assets.

The company currently sits at 5 employees and still in their early stages but following huge investments are currently looking to expand all aspects of their business.

The role

Joining the small team, you will be one of the more Senior members and will be taking the lead on the company’s backend systems. This position reports directly into the CEO and you will be tasked with lead backend projects and providing some level of strategic guidance on the direction of projects.

 Tech Requirements

• Python 3.7 – 3/4 years’ experience minimum
• Experience with Python Testing Frameworks – PyTest
• Experience with Python Web Frameworks – Django / Flask or FastAPI
• Experienced in AWS

On offer is a salary of up to £85,000 / Equity options / 8% Pension and a discretionary bonus which was paid at 25% last year.
