MID/SENIOR GOLANG ENGINEER – 100% REMOTE – UP TO $180K

THE COMPANY
The company was founded by three industry experts back in 2018 and has since gone from strength to strength. They are now Series A funded, and have 20 people in the company, half of which make up their engineering team.
This is a start-up based in Austin that is doing revolutionary work. They have created a unique platform made specifically for streamlining the work of computational experts, scientists, & innovation teams. With their platform, cloud service providers can have access to the development, testing, and implementation of quantum technologies. They embrace and encourage creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
They do have an office in Austin however, do support fully remote working across the US.
THE ROLE
As a Mid/Senior Golang Engineer you will join their Go team to contribute to their revolutionary platform. You will have full autonomy as you construct API’s and microservices. This team is full of proactive and passionate engineers that are looking for like-minded individuals to bring their ideas to the table.
They also have a Python team as well as a Front End React team who you will be expected to work with collaboratively as they look to continue implementing new features into the core platform. You will also be expected to work with the CTO to define the company's technical roadmap. Therefore, this is a perfect opportunity for an individual who likes to create and drive their own ideas into implementation.
THE SKILLS
- Programming expertise in Golang (3+ years of Golang is preferred)
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- AWS and/or GCP
- DevOps experience (nice to have)
- Proactive and motivated attitude
