Backend Engineer – Java / Python - Aarhus
We’re working with an established software business in Aarhus, as they look to add an experienced engineer to their team as it continues to grow & enter new markets.
Company
The company are well-established and have gone through an exciting transition recently – allowing them to double down on their growth plans for the next few years. The business operate within an industry worth billions across the world – helping companies to protect their data & digital products.
Their HQ is based in Aarhus & most people in the team are onsite for 2-3 days a week, so that’s the expectation for this role too.
Role
You’ll be working within a close-knit team of engineers to develop & maintain Java & Python based web scraping pipelines. This is responsible for monitoring & enforcing rules across a number of different online channels for their clients.
With that in mind, you’ll need to have solid experience in Java ideally, with Python being a preferable. Outside of that you’ll be working with Kubernetes, GCP, Pub/Sub etc daily. With this being your specialism, you’ll have the chance to coach other engineers on these areas – though there are no people management responsibilities.
