Backend Engineer – Node.js – Fully remote – Crypto – Up to £85,000

THE COMPANY

Established over 3 years ago, this ever-growing FinTech scale-up are building new products within the blockchain / cryptocurrency space; they are about to embark on building two new innovative products having already built a complex mobile wallet product. They are leveraging decentralised technology to make it completely safe and enjoyable to build on your own personal financial situation. Their product suite is extremely complex and huge amounts of data goes through the platform daily. The business is remote first so you can work from anywhere across Europe, but you can work from central London offices if you prefer. They have over 35 employees in the business currently is in an excellent financial situation to scale.

THE ROLE

You will be joining as a Node Developer to help their team of 15 engineers build out new features on existing products but also on two brand new product options that they believe will revolutionise the crypto sector. You will develop backend services and API’s which is all built within a microservices architecture. As a software engineer, you will be expected to solve complex problems and take seniority in several data driven projects. You will also work alongside some extremely smart individuals to enhance your skills with a business looking to double their engineering team over the next 12 months.

THE SKILLS

• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Solid Node.js experience
• Experience building out microservices
• API Experience
• Experience of GPC or AWS
• Ideally experience with Docker and Kubernetes

THE PACKAGE
