I have partnered with one of the nation’s biggest AdTech companies and they look to continue building out their Data Engineering team.

Company…

The organisation has been in operation for just shy of 20 years and have been building marketing and advertising solutions for some of the largest brands across the US. They have thousands of employees nationally and a data team more than 50.

In recent years they have acquired several organisations to add to their portfolio which has enhanced their product offering dramatically. Their solutions support customers in a wide variety of industries and have helped transform several organisations marketing strategies to engage with wider audiences.

They have numerous hubs across the US but have always encouraged a remote working culture therefore, for this position you can be based anywhere throughout the US.

Role…

The organisation manages huge amounts of real time big data, and it is your job to utilise data meshing techniques to make sense of the petabytes of data coming in. You will work closely with data owners across multiple cross functional teams to transform their data so that it is easily accessible, easy to understand and easy to present which will enable stakeholders to make informed decisions for customers.

Other tasks you will be responsible for is building out API layers and microservices to continue scaling their data architecture.  The organisation has a brand-new Director of Data joining the company who you will work closely with as he reforms the technical direction of the team. The company need individuals that are smart, confident in generating ideas and people that love working in highly collaborative environments. In addition to this you will need experience in the following technical areas:

• Strong Python Engineering experience
• Comfortable with Hadoop
• Data mesh experience would be very advantageous
• AWS and Kubernetes would be desirable
• Prior experience working in a Scrum environment

On offer is a salary between $100,000 - $150,000 plus 10%-20% bonus, full health benefits, 401k, generous PTO and more.
