Role
As an Engineering Manager, you will work closely alongside their Director and VP of Engineering as they look to continue their growth throughout 2024. You will adopt a team of 8 Backend Engineers which is set to scale across the year. You will be heavily responsible in the architectural design of new features, leading code reviews and sprint, running 1to1’s and more. If you are open to getting involved with hands on coding from time to time, that would be beneficial but not an expectation.
Fluid communication is a vital part of the role as you will be working cross-functionally with Frontend, Product and ML teams. Essential requirements for the positions include:

- 5+ years management experience
- An additional 5+ years software engineering experience
- Led and scaled teams of around 10
- Ability to support the professional growth of engineers within your team
- Ownership over entire SDLC
- Background in leading sprints, code reviews and performance reviews
- Golang/Python/JavaScript experience is a plus
