Job description

Frontend Engineer - Data-driven platform - £55,000 - £85,000

Tell me about the role

You’ll be joining the team as a Frontend Engineer – working within a team of three developers (they’re currently hiring four more!). There’s a LOT of greenfield work going on in the business right now. They’ve just had a huge influx of new users, who have all brought a range of feature requests to the table. They have two core platforms – a web scraping tool providing insights & analytics to their clients and the other allows businesses to approach those clients for business – essentially a marketplace platform.

To give you an idea of just how ‘data-driven’ the products are, they envisage that within a few months, there will be 50 million rows of data added to the analytics platform each day!

You will be focusing purely on the frontend of these products – delivering features and building the client facing dashboard.

They’ve just gone through a funding round at the start of 2022 – raising over $15m to help with this expansion, so it’s the perfect time to join!

Their product is used by creators & influencers, to allow them to connect with businesses and manage sponsorship agreements. The analytics platform mentioned above is currently tracking over 250 million influencers & provides insights to fellow creators and relevant businesses from there.

They operate on a fully remote basis & are happy to hire anyone in the UK, Portugal and Germany. They hire people via ‘remote.com’, so this is how you will be employed if based outside of the UK.

What experience should I have?

  • You’ll need experience building & delivering features in Reactjs/TypeScript
  • Experience building & implementing APIs
  • Any experience using React Native, and data visualisation tools such as D3.js would be massively beneficial, but is certainly not required

Their full tech stack includes: React TypeScript, GraphQL, Node.js, AWS, CI/CD,

What’s in it for me?

As well as a base salary of £55,000 - £85,000 DOE, you’ll get access to 25 days holiday (plus public holidays), discretionary bonus, flexible working & much more!
