Full Stack Developer – TypeScript / React / Node – Ed-Tech – Remote – Up to £60,000

I’ve partnered up with a technology business who have built a platform that is used by students between the ages of 11 – 20 all over the globe (in over 100 countries!), to assist them in their studies & to provide them with access to niche, hard-to-find resources. They sell the product into schools, colleges & universities and have grown massively over the past five years – now having a headcount of 90 worldwide!

So why are they hiring engineers?

The reason they need someone like you in their team is because, quite frankly, they’re snowed under with new projects at the minute! The product is fully operational and is used by over 3000 educational firms worldwide but with that huge customer base, comes a very high amount of product feature requests. One of the first projects you will be getting stuck into is a greenfield one – helping the business to implement multiple authorisation features across the customer facing side of their platform.

This is probably a good time to talk about the skillset required…

They’re looking for Full Stack Engineers with experience working across the JavaScript / TypeScript stack. On a daily basis, you’ll be getting stuck into projects using a stack of React, Node, TS, AWS etc. The engineering team consists of five people at the minute, plus the CTO – so the more experience you have in multiple areas, the better!

The full stack that you will work with also includes: Next.js, Nest.js, CI/CD, Lambda’s etc.
