Lead Product Designer – Crypto / DeFi
Location: Berlin / Remote (preference for European time zones)
Salary: Up to €100,000

We’re partnering with an innovative crypto/DeFi startup that’s redefining cross-chain financial infrastructure. The company has already processed over $4 billion in trades, delivering seamless, native asset swapping across multiple blockchains, no wrapping, bridging, or juggling multiple wallets required. Now, they’re expanding into cross-chain lending, letting users borrow and lend assets like BTC, ETH, and USDC with zero friction.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing, deeply experienced team of 30, tackling some of the most complex UX challenges in crypto. The company champions flexible work styles, combining in-office collaboration in Berlin with remote-friendly arrangements, and is looking for a hands-on Lead Product Designer to shape the user experience across their product portfolio.

The Role

• Lead product design for both cross-chain swapping and the upcoming lending product.

• Work closely with a 7-person product team and collaborate day-to-day with engineers.

• Report directly to the Product Manager, while having visibility to the COO and wider leadership team.

• Take ownership of design execution, from low-fidelity sketches to high-fidelity prototypes, solving real user problems.

• Iterate and experiment with user flows, journeys, and MVPs to deliver seamless, intuitive experiences in DeFi.

• Contribute to shaping a cohesive, elegant, and frictionless user experience across web and mobile platforms.

This is a hands-on role, you’ll be designing real products and influencing how millions of users interact with cutting-edge blockchain infrastructure.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of DeFi experience, ideally 3–5 years, designing crypto or blockchain products

• Strong UX and product design skills, with mastery of Figma

• Hands-on experience driving projects from discovery to launch, including user testing and research

• Strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving, creativity, and user-centric thinking

• Ability to balance technical, business, and user needs in complex product environments

• Passion for tackling difficult UX challenges in DeFi and crypto

Candidates based in Europe or open to relocating to Berlin are preferred.
