Mid-Senior Python Backend Engineer - UK / Sweden / Spain - Up to £80,000

Backend Software Engineer – Python / Cloud / Data – Remote
I have recently partnered with an emerging European BioTech start-up having recently secured Series A funding they are looking to expand their Backend teams with addition of multiple mid-Senior engineers by the end of the year.
Company
The business specialises in building tools and systems to further the drug discovery and infectious disease treatment industry.
The company were established in the late 2010’s and have steadily grown all aspects of the company.
Having recently secured their Series A funding the business Tech functions are at the forefront of their next growth phase. They currently have a tech team of <10 which is split into both Software & Data Science teams the backend team are looking to scale.
Role
You will be joining a growing team which works directly under the CTO and currently has a flat hierarchy with both experienced and more junior level engineers contributing to all aspect of delivery.
Within this position you will be contributing to the development of the business bespoke platform on AWS & Python which currently handles workflows such at ML training / Predictions.
Additionally you can expect to contribute to a variety of data projects.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Python (minimum)
- Strong Cloud Experience using AWS (infrastructure and security is beneficial)
- Experience building data centric platforms
- Experience with both SQL & DynamoDB
