Mid-Senior Python Engineer – 100% Remote - $130,000 - $180,000

I am excited to be working with a young Austin based start-up as they continue to scale their engineering team. They are looking for an experienced Python Engineer to continue scaling their core platform.

THE COMPANY

The company was founded by three industry experts back in 2018 and has since gone from strength to strength. They are now Series A funded, and have 20 people in the company, half of which make up their engineering team.

This is a start-up based in Austin that is doing revolutionary work. They have created a unique platform made specifically for streamlining the work of computational experts, scientists, & innovation teams. With their platform, cloud service providers can have access to the development, testing, and implementation of quantum technologies. They embrace and encourage creativity, innovation, and collaboration.

They do have an office in Austin however, do support fully remote working across the US.

THE ROLE

This Python role is a very exciting opportunity for an individual that likes to demonstrate their creative side and experiment with new technologies and new designs. A lot of work will involve building proof of concept applications that surround their core quantum platform which will then be put in to production.

You will work closely with other engineers and scientists within the organisation to help design and build new solutions and to maintain the production quality code. You will also work closely alongside senior figures within the organisation, including the CTO, to help define the roadmap for new products as the company look to onboard further customers. THE SKILLS

• 3+ years’ experience with Python
• Web framework experience, preferably with FastAPI but Flask or Django considered
• Pandas/NumPy would be beneficial
• AWS
• Keen desire to work in a fast paced start-up building new products
