Principal Software Engineer / AdTech essential / Fully remote (US) / $200k - $250k + 10% bonus
I am very excited to be working with an amazing Series D-funded SaaS company based out of California! They are investing heavily in the engineering department throughout 2023 and will be doubling their headcount.

The company has been in operation for over 10 years and has been supporting some of the globe’s biggest brands with their advertising and marketing efforts. Over the past 12 months, they have been building upon their success and are currently developing a SaaS-based platform that is set to take the business in a very exciting new direction! This platform will streamline their partners’ processes around customer engagement and is aimed to enhance the consumer experience.
Since inception, they have been recognized by multiple organizations as one of the fastest-growing tech companies along with having one of the best cultures on the market. The organization is in a very cash-reach position with their last funding round being in excess of $100 million. They currently have over 400 people across the company with 50 of those sitting within the engineering team.

As a Senior/Staff Software Engineer, you will be leading projects to improve customer experience on their platform. You will work alongside top-of-the-line data scientists and other highly skilled software engineers to increase the proficiency and performance of their ad campaign systems.
The role…
To strengthen their team, the organisation are looking for a Principal Software Engineer who will be a key player across the entire engineering department. You will have full visibility over the companies SaaS product, it’s entire architecture and the technical roadmap. You will also be instrumental in making key decision to enhance the platforms capabilities to improve on the customer experience. You will work cross-functionally and provide support and guidance to all of teams and will lead small pods on critical efforts.
This is an amazing opportunity for a very senior and experienced engineer to put their depth on knowledge to the test in a challenging environment with a company entering an exciting phase of growth. You will also have exposure to senior stakeholders within the organisation as you work with them to map out the future of the platform. Given the organisation come from the AdTech space, they need someone to have AdTech experience and the ability to work with large data sets. Below highlights the ideal candidate:
On offer is a salary of $200,000 - $250,000 + 10% bonus, equity, unlimited PTO, healthcare, 401k and more. This is a fully remote role however, you must be based in the US.

- 6+ years’ experience in software engineering
- Experience in either Python or Golang or both
- Ability to own business critical projects from start to finish
- Prior experience working with large, complex data sets
- AdTech experience is an absolute MUST
- Excellent communication skills
