Senior Backend Engineer – FinTech – London Hybrid 1/2 Days a Week – Python / NumPy / Distributed Systems / AWS
I am working with a exciting London based FinTech start-up. The company who were founded a little over 5 years ago and have secured multiple $M of funding to build their investment insights platform.
Having already secured multiple clients using their state-of-the-art analytics to assist with managing and analyzing muilti-billion found funds the delivery team is looking to scale.
Role
As a Senior Backend Engineer you will be working closely with the current engineering manager to scale one of the businesses core services. The Engineering team is currently at 12 with 6 backend engineer and 6 product / FE engineers.
With the companies products being separated into multiple services the engineering team is split to allow multiple engineers to be responsible for a shared service.
This role will be working with on the core analytics and dependency graph services.

Requirements
- Very Strong Python Experience (expected minimum 3+ Years)
- Strong Experience With Numerical Python (NumPy / Pandas)
- Experience with Distributed Systems
- Strong AWS experience (Lambdas ideally)
- STEM degree (preferred)
- Salary up to £90,000
- Hybrid working arrangement
