Senior Frontend Engineer - Learning Platform - React/TypeScript - £80,000 - £120,000

I have an exclusive opportunity available for an experienced engineer to join a London based start-up & help to deliver the MVP of their product!

The role

You’ll be working directly alongside the CTO to help build out a number of brand-new features, as well as proactively coming up with solutions to complex technical issues that the business are facing. With you being the first full time engineering hire, you’ll need to be confident working within small teams & delivering features from day one. The platform is in build phase right now & the first full rollout is on track to be early Q1 2023. Between now & then, there’s features that need to be improved & plenty that need to be built from scratch!

The company

Their product is pretty unique. It’s a learning & development platform that’s sold into businesses & rolled out to their staff. It’s heavily aimed towards people who are very early on in their career (graduates, interns, apprentices etc) to give them the skills they need to be successful in their chosen career. The platform gives them access to a dedicated specialist within that area, along with live masterclasses with industry experts – hosted in a virtual meeting room.

The company are based in London & are ideally hoping for someone to come into the office on a weekly/fortnightly basis. They won’t bring you into the office if you aren’t needed there, so you won’t be sat in the office on your own. Some weeks, you may be there 1-2 days. Other times, you won’t be in the office for 3-4 weeks (if you don’t want to be!). They’re based in the Fitzrovia / Marylebone area, so very easy to get to.

What experience do I need?

• You will need to have production experience with Next.js & TypeScript
• Experience designing & delivering products / features from scratch
• Confident doing API integrations with external platforms
• Ability to work independently when required
