Senior Golang Engineer - Gaming - €95k

Job description

Senior Golang Engineer – Gaming - €95,000

Interested in Gaming? Interested in Golang? You’ll like this one!

I’ve recently started partnering with an industry-leading company specialising in the gaming industry. They have recently decided to expand their development team and need some skilled Golang engineers!

They focus on building the game engine and have secured thousands of clients across the globe. The founders are still very much involved in the business and love to be involved in the hands-on development, so you can expect a relatively flat structure.

You will be working on the backend services in Golang, so will need several years’ experience with Go and will need to be experienced with containerization.  Working on high-scale systems will be required an integral to the role. You will gain lots of experience developing orchestration services as part of a relatively compact team of 5-10 engineers.  Additionally, if you are skilled with DevOps technologies, this role will be a good fit, as you will be hands-on with the infrastructure.

They are located in Hamburg and ideally, will work on a hybrid model, although can support remote work across Germany, if this is required.

Here’s a summary:

  • 3-stage interview process
  • Up to €95k salary
  • Annual bonus system
  • Hamburg or Remote
