SENIOR GOLANG ENGINEER – INDUSTRIAL TECH START-UP – HYBRID IN AUSTIN – UP TO $150K

THE COMPANY

This is a next-level industrial technology start-up based in Austin. They have a unique security-focused approach to cyber-physical system design. The company works with both private and public sector customers to create futuristic industrial systems. They focus on solutions targeting critical infrastructure to make their industrial base more flexible, efficient, & resilient.

THE ROLE

As the newest Senior Golang Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of 5 software engineers alongside another Senior Engineer. You will be a direct contributor to their current exciting project by managing and improving the quality of their codebase.

The current project that they are looking to build and scale is a platform that takes data from remote sensors in order for their customers to monitor local areas for illegal activity.

Obviously, the tech side is important, but you will also be working a lot with external clients and addressing issues that can be both non-technical and technical. So, communication skills are a must-have!

THE SKILLS

• Programming expertise in Golang (2+ years of Golang is preferred)
• Docker and/or Kubernetes (nice to have)
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical colleagues and customers
• Complex problem solving
