THE ROLE

Joining as the newest member of an impressive cross functional team, you will be focusing on building out the backend of a platform that manages Renewable Energies.

 

The platform is very data heavy (as is most of the work that this team do), so an eagerness for working with large, complex data sets would be ideal if you’d like to be involved.

 

You’ll be working closely with both Backend and Frontend Developers, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Owners, Scrum Masters as well as external stakeholders to get to the best possible solution to some exciting tech challenges.

 

Whilst this is primarily a Backend Python Developer role, the platforms here are all data centric so you’ll be working a lot with ETL pipelines, data processing systems, data security etc.

 

THE SKILLS

The main skills/experience that we need you to come on board with are:

  • Python Programming (ideally 3+ years)
  • Experience building out RestfulAPIs and Microservices
  • TDD experience
  • Some exposure to cloud services (AWS ideally)

 

We’d love if you also have some background with:

  • Docker & Kubernetes
  • AWS Data tools
  • Experience building out ETL pipelines

 

THE PACKAGE

Along with a salary of up to €80,000, you will be given a generous holiday allowance of up to 30 days per year, transport help, rent a bike options, free food, pension etc.

 

This role is Berlin based, and will require someone who can work on site once a week.

 

THE PROCESS

  1. General screening call – finding out more about you, your experience and what your goals are.
  2. Technical interview – talking through past projects, discussing technical problems and possible solutions etc.
  3. Final chat with the team manager – to make sure everything aligns and answer any final questions from each side.
