Are you an experienced recruitment consultant stuck in a market with low fees? Do you have a limited commission scheme and restrictive earning potential because of the market you recruit in? Do you regularly hit targets but don’t know how or where you progress within your current team?

Amicus are on the lookout for several Senior Recruitment Consultants to join us in our new offices in Austin to recruit the best software engineering talent across the US!

With regular fees in the region of $40,000 - $100,000 and commission paying up to 50%, our consultants are able to significantly enhance their earning potential by recruiting for some of the most in-demand technical skills in the world! We’ve grown to 26 people currently across Manchester and Austin, TX and have plans to reach 50 heads by the end of 2024.

Our Austin team is still in start-up mode with 5 people, howeve, we have ambitious plans to treble the office size in 2024 meaning there is huge professional growth opportunities as we scale the business!

The role

  • A hands-on 360 recruitment position with the main objective of developing a market across the Software Engineering, ERP, or Cloud and Devops market.

  • Develop client relationships with both new & existing clients across niche technical markets using business development techniques / skills

  • Compose quality, well-written content for job advertisements, email marketing & internal training material

  • Build brand awareness across the new region with social network activity

  • Host tech webinars, round table events and attend sponsored tech events

  • Lead by example to less experienced consultants with consistent billings & regularly promoting best practices

What do I need to be successful?

  • Successful proven experience as a 360 recruiter, ideally within the tech industry.

  • History of developing new & existing client relationships

  • Have experience with mentoring junior consultants

  • Excellent consultative communication skills

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills

  • Hungry, driven, ambitious, resilient personality

  • Good business acumen

  • A burning desire to be successful in all you do

In return you will receive:

  • Base salary up to $70,000 - $75,000 (DOE) OTE $150,000+
