Senior / Lead Golang engineers - Data analytics - Fully remote - Salary up to £100,000

Do you want to work with a company who build cutting edge analytics software to drive efficiency in the workplace? We are delighted to be working with a business with over 350 staff and over 70 million in turnover p/a who are looking for several Senior and Lead Golang developers!

The business who were founded 15 years ago but have undertaken several M&A’s on there journey and as they continue to scale, they need to expand to their 130 inhouse development team. They provide workforce management software across many different industries in both the public and private sector, with real time analytics powering the highly advanced software. The business has been remote first across the last seven years and are happy for you to work fully remotely anywhere across the UK!

 

In their current team, they have 130 developers however they are split across there 7 different products. In the product you will be responsible for building, you will work alongside a product team of 15, which includes 10 developers, 2 testers, 2 designers and a product manager who are responsible for working specifically in the API layer of the platform. Working alongside 7 other golang engineers, you will work with technologies such as Golang, AWS, docker, Kubernetes to build and scale the backend system. They are looking for individuals with strong problem-solving skills who enjoy working on complex data driven systems. Given the different product suite, there is opportunities to work across several different products working across many different technologies. They are looking for an individual with the following skills:

  • 4+ years’ experience working in software engineering
  • 12 months experience in Golang
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with CI / CD or Terraform is desirable
