Senior Software Engineer – Fully remote - Healthtech - +/- 3 hours GMT

Do you want to work fully remotely anywhere in Europe? Are you looking to work for a Health tech with a fintech arm? If so, my client is looking 3 more backend software engineers to build out their complex software application.

As a Software engineer, you will join a engineering team of 12 working alongside 4 other backend engineers build out their backend services in Golang! They have a brilliant business model which is to make healthcare more economical for everyone both in the UK and across Europe! The company currently employ 30 individuals and even though they were founded 3 years ago, they are already making a profit and are now planning on expansion of their services into Europe! They are looking for a seasoned developer and an individual who has a passion for Golang! You should have a minimum of two years commercial golang experience but will have the abaility to work remotely worldwide within a +/- 3 hours of the UK!

You will be building out the payment’s platform which is extremely complex and with the expansion into different countries with different regulations and across many new currencies, there are several challenging projects for you to get stuck into. The application is currently built out Golang on a microservice architecture as well as hosted on Kubernetes cluster on GCP. As a business, they are happy for you to work from there HQ in London or alternatively fully remotely anywhere across Europe and everybody is rewarded with significant equity in the business from day one where the value of the business trebling in the past 12 months!

Skills required:

You must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in software development and you will also be competent in the below skills:

• Ideally 2 years experience in Golang
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Ideally experience in GCP or AWS
• Experience building API’s
• Fluent in English and great communication skills

Package:

• Salary between £65,000 - £85,000 or up to €95,000
• Fully remote worldwide - +/- 3 hours of GMT
