Job description
Staff Software Engineer – TypeScript / Node – Up to €135,000 + benefits
We’re currently partnered with a unique tech startup in Berlin, who have claimed a huge portion of their market since being incepted just three years ago!
Their product provides its users with the opportunity to own any of their data which would previously be shared with third party suppliers. Users can easily control where their data is shared & where it remains completely private.
After finding product-market fit so quickly, the company have scaled to over 160 people globally – with over 60 software engineers spread across Berlin and two further offices across the world. They truly are one of the most exciting tech scale-ups that I have seen in the last few years!
For this role in particular, there will be some work done from their Berlin office. This will ideally be 1-2 days a week, but there can be some flexibility.
The role
They are looking to add a Staff level TypeScript engineer to their team currently, to provide technical leadership as they continue to expand their product offering to their public customers. Whilst you won’t have any people management responsibilities, you will regularly be involved in architectural discussions and working on the entire product lifecycle.
Their stack is TypeScript across both front & backend – React, Node, AWS etc. This role in particular will have a focus on backend development due to the way in which the platform is built and because of the focus you will have on architecture, infrastructure and product performance.
They have hired engineers from some of Europe’s best tech businesses, so you will be working with some of the smartest people in Germany!
The offer
The business are willing to pay an annual salary of up to €135,000 dependent on experience plus a list of benefits including:
If you think it could be your next role, get in touch & we can discuss further.
