TECHNICAL LEAD – GOLANG AND PHP – UP TO £130,000

THE COMPANY

I have partnered with an established SaaS business who have been the leading global provider in accommodation bookings for over 20 years. During this time, the company has grown to over 200 employees, operates in over 100 countries and have partnered with multinational corporations to provide business services. The business mainly operates in the B2B space, but they also have a B2C element within their product and due to continued growth are looking to expand their team. Due to the nature of the role, the candidate must be willing to travel to either their London or Lancaster once per week.

THE ROLE

The role is 70% hands-on, but you will be leading a team of 10 engineers and supporting the CTO to play a vital role in improving data architecture, building out microservice architecture and working heavily in the API space. Given the nature of the business and processing millions of transactions, it is a highly scalable and highly transactional platform. The company have an ecosystem of many applications in Golang and PHP so the role will involve a balancing of the two technologies.

SKILLS

• Hands-on experience in Golang and PHP
• Technical leadership experience
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker
• Experience with AWS, GCP stacks
• Ideally 10+ years in the industry

The role is offering a generous salary up to £130,000 DOE as well as offering private healthcare, 25 days + BH as well as many more.
 

The interview process is straightforward with a first stage introduction with the CTO, a technical test as a second stage with a final 30-minute HR cultural interview for you to ask any final questions about the business.
