Golang Software Engineers – Remote in UK - Up to around £100,000 per Annum

The Company

A mature start-up with an established team that has been going for over 8 years and client base which is continuing to grow after branching out into a newer and more niche space.

They help users improve their personal circumstances whilst adding value to causes that the individual user believes in. With over 200 people employed globally and offices across Europe, they’re expanding and need talented Software Engineers to help them do it.

The Role

The Tech Teams are split across the European offices, with cool spaces in Frankfurt and London. They have existing platforms but they’re building out brand new scalable Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence platforms to manage the new offerings (both B2B and B2C) – this is where you come in. They’re looking for Engineers of all levels to help with this so whether you’re a Mid-Level or Senior-Lead Golang Engineer this could be the role for you.

In a nutshell:

  • You’ll be involved in the whole SDLC for the backend services
  • You’ll work on the back-end APIs
  • You’ll need to be product minded; you’ll work closely with the wider product team to establish how you can best deliver value.

 

The Skills

All of the backend is written in Golang so you’ll need to have a keen interest in working with Go. For the more Senior Engineers coming into the team, you’ll need some solid experience with Golang.

  • Golang
  • A background in Computer Science
  • Experience working with Cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, GCP

 

The Package

The salary on offer depends on your experience but the banding is £60,000 - £100,000 depending on experience.
