Backend Team Lead
Job description
I am currently working with a SaaS business founded 7 years ago who are looking for a Backend Team lead to join their world class Backend Engineering team.
They currently have an engineering team of 70 and you will join a team of 20 other backend engineers developing the backend endpoints to enable apps to communicate. You will work 5 different cross-functional teams of mobile / app developers, devops engineers, test analysts and a solution integration team building out very complex solutions.
This role is a 50/50 hands on/hands off role and therefore leadership experience is required.
The team is currently fully remote, and this role can be carried out fully remotely anywhere in Europe indefinitely or on site in there London office. You can get involved with devops work or build out some frontend web apps if you would like to but they are looking for core backend developers who want to build out cloud native applications that are hosted on AWS. To be considered for this role you will be expected to have the following skills and experiences:

- Experience with Golang
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Docker and Kubernetes
- Line Management Experience
