I have an amazing opportunity to join one of the UK’s best Fintech companies, establishing their greenfield DataHub platform and data team. As the company continues to scale and take on more clients, they are seeing an ever-increasing need for data tooling and products for their clients. They are now looking to build out a brand-new platform and team starting with a Tech Lead Data Engineering hire.

THE COMPANY

The company in question are working on a new kind of payment portal linked with applications, allowing banks to communicate directly with vendors/customers in order to make purchases without the need for card details. By doing this it increases security, allows quicker transactions, and also simply improves customer experience. They boast an impressive easy to use API which has cut down their customers payment times by over 85%.

THE ROLE

Having secured £20M of funding this year already they are looking to raise Series B in the coming months. As part of their expansion, they are looking to establish a new data platform “DataHub” and data engineering team that will sit next to the existing platform team. As the Tech lead you will be tasked with defining tools, establishing infrastructure for both data producers and data consumers and growing the team to 3 over the next couple of months.

The role will be heavily hands on and will only require you manage a small team of 3 including yourself so will be the perfect for someone looking to move into / continue their development in management.

BENIFITIS

On offer is a salary of up to £120,000 employeed either directly in the UK or through a 3^rd party remotely across Europe (GMT ± 2 hours ideally) In addition to the salary they have generous equity and a fantastic benefits package.
