The Company


Changing the way the travel industry makes strategic decisions; this company have developed an innovative BI tool to change the financial management decisions for large scale businesses.

Their tool inserts into commercial workflows to help customers be more effective in distribution and sales to reduce waste, use resources more efficiently and contribute to a better travel industry.

With around 60 people across the business and 30 in engineering and data science, they’re now looking to double in size in the next 12 month as they begin to solve more challenging problems.


With a strong data science team, you’ll have chance to work amongst some of the best engineers across the market as you’ll be heavily involved in scaling the data driven platform.

The Role


As Senior Data Scientist, you’ll be working with the business cross functional team to develop a forecasting tool that’s extremely complex.
Working with a team of 3 within the forecasting team, you will play a vital role in developing time-series ML models forecasting algorithms. You will provide understanding into the behaviour of the algorithms which can be conveyed to customers. You will be forecasting sales, revenue and working within granular detail to provide highly accurate forecasts using up to Machine learning techniques.
You will be understand feature builds and attention models and be an individual who loves solving complex problems. You will be expected to have the following skills to be considered
  • 4 + years in a data science capacity
  • Have strong experience in time series forecasting
  • Experience in transformers, CNN’s and / or attention
  • Strong python skills
  • Degree and or MSC in a STEM subject
Package

On offer is a salary up to £95,000 + healthy stock options amongst other benefits.

The company operate on a remote first basis. You can work fully remotely within Europe, or visit the London office if you like.
