The Company
Changing the way the travel industry makes strategic decisions; this company have developed an innovative BI tool to change the financial management decisions for large scale businesses.
Their tool inserts into commercial workflows to help customers be more effective in distribution and sales to reduce waste, use resources more efficiently and contribute to a better travel industry.
With around 60 people across the business and 30 in engineering and data science, they’re now looking to double in size in the next 12 month as they begin to solve more challenging problems.
With a strong data science team, you’ll have chance to work amongst some of the best engineers across the market as you’ll be heavily involved in scaling the data driven platform.
The Role
As Senior Backend Data Scientist, you’ll be working with the business cross functional team to develop a pricing forecasting tool that’s extremely complex
You will be an individual from a strong mathematics background who is also extremely comfortable writing production level python code. The pricing application is the businesses core function and has huge amount of data running through this so you will be a individual who is use to working and building complex algorithms working with 4 other Data Scientists within the pricing team.
With a lot of autonomy within the team, you will be an individual who loves solving problems for their ever growing client list.
Skills
On offer is a salary up to £95,000 + healthy stock options amongst other benefits.
The company operate on a remote first basis. You can work fully remotely within Europe, or visit the London office if you like.

Skills
- 4 + years in a data science capacity
- Experience with Numpy and Pandas
- Strong experience writing production ready Python code
- Ideally MSC or PHD in maths / statistics
- Any experience working in a pricing team is highly advantageous
