With a groundbreaking SaaS platform, this business is rapidly expanding into new markets and they are now looking for a Data Scientist to join their passionate team! Using machine learning and data science techniques, they are able to automate and optimize energy storage of assets with the aim of building a carbon zero future. Role
As a Data Scientist you will be working on end-to-end development of a variety of machine learning projects - time series, forecasting and predictive models to name a few! Alongside building models you’ll be maintaining and deploying, as well as creating optimization algorithms. As the business delves into new markets, you’ll be conducting exploratory work to take an idea from concept through to production. Collaboration is key, you’ll be speaking regularly with other engineers and from time to time will need to convey technical points to non-technical colleagues in a clear and concise manner. As the team continues to develop there will also be the opportunity to support and lead junior members of the team if you would like!
Skills needed:
· 3 years+ commercial Machine Learning experience
· Python/Tensorflow/Scikitlearn/MLFlow/Jupyter
· Must have experience deploying models into production
· Experience with cloud-based system such as AWS
· Interest in environmental issues and keen to make a change through Data Science!
· Desire to learn and pick up new technologies as needed
Package:
· £50,000-£65,000 DOE
· 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
· Flexible working (2 days a week in office)
