Full Stack Developer - React / Node - Remote UK - £55,000 - £70,000

The Role

I’m currently working with a business who are helping to drive Fintech businesses forwards through their cutting edge platform. They’re looking to onboard a JavaScript developer that is able to assist with the build of multiple new features & APIs, as well as helping to come up with innovative ways to help scale the platform moving forwards.

You’ll be working within a product team of seven, including five engineers. They operate on a flat hierarchy system and really value the opinions and input of all of their team! They are looking for an experienced engineer, so anyone with 2+ years’ experience should be at the right level for this requirement.

Whilst working here, you’ll be tasked with working across a number of high-traffic applications built out in a JavaScript stack – more specifically React & Node.js. The position requires someone with experience working across the stack but they’re happy to consider people who have worked with other frontend frameworks other than React!

Company

The business have built a strong name in their market over the past few years by working alongside some of the biggest fintech businesses in the world. This has allowed them to constantly be at the top of their game when it comes to building new products, using the most modern tech stack possible.

They have a headcount of over 50 people in the UK & are looking to expand the team further this year due to an influx of new projects going live!

The company are operating remotely at the minute and are more than happy to continue doing so. They do have a base in London where you can work from if you would prefer, but it's by no means necessary! 

Skills

You must have experience in these skills to be considered for the role:

Required

• Modern frontend framework – ideally React
• Node.js
• Strong background in JavaScript

Desirable

• TDD – Jest, Enzyme
• GCP
• Express
• API builds
• STEM degree or equivalent
