Full Stack Engineer – React / Node - £70,000 - £85,000

What will I be working on?

Good question! The business is currently in the process of scaling up one of their core platforms – and you’ll be a key part of this. It’s a complex application which allows local businesses to connect with it’s customer base in a way that allows them to rival their bigger competitors. To allow this happen, the platform encompasses a rewards app, mapping app, ordering system & payment processor. Complex, right?

There’s so much work to be done on it & that’s why they want you! Someone who is able to come in & hit the ground running, with loads of features to be built and changes to be made to their existing architecture. Because of the different facets of the platform, you’ll need to be comfortable working across the JavaScript / TypeScript stack.

The full stack you’ll work with here includes: React, Node.js, AWS, MongoDB, Express

You don’t need to be an expert in all of these by any stretch, but it would definitely help!

Who are the company?

Operating within a unique space that allows them to reach all corners of the globe, this business are on a BIG upwards trajectory right now. Their USP is that they are able to build complex products for people that don’t have the best technical nous & don’t want to employ an outsourcing business etc.

You’ll be working within a squad of three devs on this particular product & it’s worth stressing that this is a long term project. You won’t be chopping & changing projects every other week!

The company operate on a flexible hybrid model. They have an office in Central London & there’s always people working out of it at one point or another, but they’re happy to be flexible dependent on your situation. Their ideal scenario is that they see you 2-3 times a month for a day!
