Platform Engineer

Job description

Senior Platform Engineer – Developer Experience / Cloud Infrastructure – Copenhagen

We’re delighted to be working with one of Europe’s most exciting tech startups, as they continue their mission to become the leader in their market.

They’re now on the lookout for a Senior Platform Engineer to join their Infrastructure team and help take developer experience to the next level.

The Role

In this role, you'll be at the core of platform engineering—designing and maintaining the backbone that enables rapid innovation across all product teams.

You’ll be the kind of person who thrives on crafting elegant, scalable solutions to improve the developer journey—building pipelines devs love, refining observability systems, and baking reliability and security into everything from day one.

You’ll be managing infrastructure at scale, driving platform maturity, and ensuring engineering teams are empowered to build exceptional products—fast and safely.

What You’ll Bring
  • A "platform-as-a-product" mindset—prioritizing what truly moves the needle for developers.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering in high-growth environments.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS.
  • Strong experience with IaC tools—Terraform or OpenTofu ideally.
  • A background within software engineering, to ensure empathy with the devs you’ll work closely with
  • A passion for security and embedding compliance early in the lifecycle.
The Company

With a current team of over 400 and huge growth planned in the next few years, this is an opportunity to get in while the rocket ship’s still near the launchpad.

Their tech is used by tens of thousands of teams across the globe every week—helping analysts record, analyse, and improve performance with ease.

The company’s mission is a positive and inclusive one: to ensure access to performance tools, regardless of background, budget, or location.

Their Copenhagen HQ is the coolest office I’ve ever visited, so I’m sure you’ll agree. Most of their team are onsite between 3-5 days a week. They offer flexibility on remote working, but their staff like being in the office more often than not.
