Senior Data Scientist – Up to £90k – London (Hybrid)!

Can you tell me more about the company?
Founded just over 3 years ago, this thriving R&D business develop bespoke data driven solutions for a diverse set of clients! They believe in using AI and Machine Learning to provide deeper insights and streamline processes, partnering with companies to help them get the most out of their data.

Having recently secured a long-term contract with a European retailer, they are looking to scale their team as they continue to grow!

What will I be doing?
We are looking for a creative problem solver – you don’t shy away from a challenge, you embrace it! You’ll be delivering end to end AI projects, from designing a concept through to building models and implementation. As a Senior you’ll be responsible for junior members in the team and help to guide them where needed. You’re proactive in finding the best techniques to solve data issues, and you’re happy to work to a high degree of autonomy, taking ownership of the projects you create.

Acting as almost an extension of the European retailer, you’ll be their go-to for developing AI solutions and identifying key data opportunities. A few of the upcoming projects you’ll be working on include pricing and demand forecasting using time series data, recommender systems and supply chain optimization.

The team is based in London and operates on a hybrid approach, providing the option to work from home 1-2 days a week if desired.

What skills/experience do I need?
· 1+ year commercial experience in Data Science/Machine Learning
· Experience building deep learning solutions
· Python / PyTorch / Tensorflow
· People management/mentoring experience is a bonus!
· Experience with deployment/MLOps is desirable – preferably to a cloud environment

How will I be compensated?

On offer is a salary up to £90k DOE + discretionary bonus!
