Senior Full Stack Engineer – React / Node / TypeScript – Fintech – £70,000 - £90,000

I’ve just connected with a fintech business who are looking to expand their engineering function due to a huge new project that has just started!

They’ve been in business for five years now & have worked with some of the largest corporations in the UK – who pay to use their platforms due to their complexity & ability to offer reporting tools. They are true specialists in the data management space & their products are able to take some of the most complicated sets of information and show it to businesses in an easy to read manner.

They’re happy for people to work remotely most of the time, however with this role in particular, they will need someone who is able to commute into London once a week / fortnight to communicate with an external team.

The role

The new product that they are building out is going to be huge & needs a Senior Engineer to come on board to assist with the multiple feature builds. You will be working alongside a lead engineer to define the future of the product but 95% of your time will be hands on, writing code to directly contribute to the product itself. They are expanding rapidly, so there is the chance to progress into a leadership role in the near future if that’s the path that you’d like to take.

We’re keen to speak with people who are comfortable working with TypeScript across the stack as your expertise will be needed across UI & server side projects as the platform grows. They do use a lot of Python in their codebase due to the amount of data it handles, but you do not need to have experience with it for this role in particular!

The full stack you will work with includes: TypeScript, React, Node, GraphQL, NoSQL, AWS

Interview process (no technical test!)

• Screening call with Ops Manager – 30 mins
• Take home task – 1-2hrs
• Final interview with technical team to go through solution – 90 mins

Salary & package

On offer is a salary between £70,000 - £90,000 DOE + a long list of benefits including:
