Senior Software Engineer - Golang & Distributed Systems - Remote on East Coast - Up to $200K
I am happy to be partnering with a heavily invested Series A technology start up! They are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work remotely in EST! You must be willing to travel to the office in Michigan once every quarter to meet the team!
The product enables 1000’s of vehicle owners to collect, use, and monetize data that their vehicles generate.
They are building apps and an open developer platform to transform the automotive and mobility market along with having their own token!!

What you will be doing:
- Developing APIs (REST, gRPC & GraphQL)
- Integrating with decentralized technologies/ Web3
- Contribute to the existing microservices or create new ones from scratch. The backend is written in Go. They also use Kafka, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, elastic.
- Work closely with leadership team on product direction
- Opportunities for mentoring Junior engineers
Skills needed to be considered:
- 4x years’ experience as a Software Engineer
- Experience with Golang
- Distributed Systems
- Experience with Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Kafka
- Experience using Cloud Native platforms – AWS, Azure or GCP
- Willingness to use Web3
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary $140,000 - $200,000
- Total compensation inclusive of tokens could be up to $300,000 annually.
