My client are looking for both a Mid & Senior Frontend Engineer to help build a SaaS platform that biologists and research institutions can run their own data pipelines and manage their data.

They’ve received over $30m in funding to date and are now onboarding some of the worlds most renowned research institutions who rely heavily on their platform.

One of their biggest clients is Harvard University who are using their data driven platform to store all their data in one place and analyse sequencing data to push towards completing some incredibly innovative projects.

The successful Frontend React Engineer will join a super talented team of 5 in building a modern Bioinformatics SaaS platform. You will collaborate closely with their biology/product team to understand the needs and requirements for frontend services and tools to support their evolving product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product & design teams to refine the features build.
• Build out core features and add complexity to their platform.
• Have a true focus on user management and building our UX flow.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation
• Write automated unit & integration tests to ensure a stable and quality application
• Build and deliver quality software through comprehensive code reviews and automated testing.
• Use data visualisation tools and libraries to help build out interactive charts and graphs for their customers to use.

Key experience needed:

• Strong expertise with React and NextJS.
• Commercial experience with TypeScript.
• Write Unit tests with either Cypress, Jest, React Testing Library
• Ability to work well with UI/UX designers to implement and iterate on designs
• Knowledge and interest in BioTech/Molecular biology
