I’m working with a VC backed tech start-up who are reinventing CRM for the modern, data-informed business. They are an early mover in a massive market with unique insights with an ability to hire great people, rally around vision, and execute.

They truly are one-of-a-kind with little to no direct competitors offering what they do. After receiving Series A funding last year from two leading VC firms, they are incredibly well backed and ready to push towards Series B in the near future.

What problem are they solving?

They are building a modern, data driven, API-first CRM that is rethought from the ground up. Today’s customer relationships are more complex than traditional CRM can capture. Prevailing GTM models rely on asynchronous, distributed coordination across sales, marketing, support, and product development. But critical information about the customer journey is spread across a dozen systems. Their CRM treats these data sources as first-class data types and provides a composable application front end that allows customers to construct a CRM that fits their unique model.

They build business applications on a composite customer data model (virtualized system of record). We are agnostic about the source data, providing connectors to popular systems, but opinionated about the data model for the future of CRM.

They provide customizable apps on top of this new data model that empower business users to assemble the exact views, automation, and analysis they need.

They provide a managed virtual data warehouse or manages datasets in customers’ existing warehouse.

What you'll work on…

• Building user facing workflows in close collaboration with product and design
• Creating a modular, schema driven UI
• Designing APIs (GraphQL, REST)
• Maintaining client libraries and end-user documentation
